MICROSS REMAINS OPEN to Support Essential Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Sectors
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation continues to evolve, Micross has taken a series of precautionary measures to protect our employees & partners and to ensure continuity of service for our customers. Micross continues to monitor the recommendations from the Center for Disease Control as well as local and federal agency directives.
We are pleased to advise that all US and UK Micross locations are fully functional and open for business. Our UK facilities are abiding by local Government requirements and are operating under normal business hours.
On Friday, March 20, Ellen Lord, Under Secretary of Defense at the Pentagon wrote a memo re-affirming the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) as a Critical Infrastructure Sector as identified by the Department of Homeland Security. As Micross is involved in the delivery of essential products and services in support of the DIB, we are exempt from State or Country “Stay in Place” Orders and will maintain normal working schedules.
Micross’ operating priorities are therefore to: 1) ensure that our employees are safe and healthy; and 2) maintain our supply chain. We can then successfully fulfill our customer commitments.
We are actively working to ensure there is no interruption to services and will provide updates to our customers should there be any delays in delivery and/or supply chain disruption.
