Chip Resistors

Micross are now able to offer a broad range of Standard and Mil Grade Chip Resistors, surface mount resistors, RC Networks as well as custom networks for your circuit requirements.

Micross is a  DESC authorised distributor for the M55342 products. We understand the military market and its need for high consistency and reliability and are able to offer both thin and thick film processes from a wide variety of manufacturers and termination styles.

Hi-Rel Applications

Micross are able to supply chip resistors that are:

• QPL approved, available in both thick and thin film
• Established S-Level Reliability
• Qualified to Space Level T
• 100% Burn In
• Non-ER Level C available
• Standard Hi-Reliability Programme consists of 100% screening and batch testing to Group A and Group B tests established in MIL-PRF-55342
• Terminations for both Epoxy mounted solderable applications are available in both the thin and thick film resistors
• Can offer a wide range of substrates for customer needs

Hi-Reliability Screening

For high reliability applications such as aerospace, satellite, defence and medical electronics, Micross can offer Hi-Reliability screening on any size or style that can be processes and/or tested to customer specific reliability parameters.

Testing

MIL-PRF-55342 chip resistors undergo additional testing over a variety of extensive and rigid screening processes to ensure that all devices are military qualified and are guaranteed to work within specific characteristics. Hi-Reliability screening of standard chips is also available. Micross, with SOTA can offer three categories of MIL-PRF-55342 qualified thick and thin film resistors:

• Level T - Space Level Resistor to which each production lot will undergo Group A and Group B inspection. R-level Reliability rate
• Level M,P,R,S - Established Reliability product levels to which failure rates will be established at 1% to 0.0001% / 1000hrs. Each lot is subjected to subgroups 1 and 2 of Group A(with the exception of 1000hrs Burn In)
• Level C - Non-established Reliability product where mandatory testing such as Groups A and B are not required
